away on November 05,
2006. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Ebert
in 1998. She is
survived by her sons, Steve Ebert (Debra Weyerman) of
Florida, Ken M. Ebert and David Ebert both of Talpa and sister, Jane
Martin of St. Louis, Missouri.
Edgecumbe, Richard E.
Richard E. Edgecumbe a
long time Taos, NM resident native of England. died here Monday 4 June 1909. His great love
was fishing and hunting deer. His funeral and burial was held in Taos, NM. La Revista De

Ellison, Barbara Haines
Barbara Haines Ellison,
born June 27, 1933, daughter of Stephen Wheeler Haines and
Mable Snyder Haines of
Muskogee, OK, died on March 7, 2001 in Taos, NM. Diagnosed
with lupus in 1966,
Barbara was one of the longest living Lupus patients in
the world. Her courage
and tenacity in the face of this chronic disease were
remarkable. Graduating from Central High School, she then attended the
University of Oklahoma where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority
and met her husband of 46 years, George Rittenhouse Ellison of Oklahoma
City. Barbara was a member of the Junior League of Albuquerque, playing the witch in
the Children's Theater productions,"Hansel and Gretel," and serving as Recording Secretary
from 1967 - 1968. When her family moved to Colorado Springs, she volunteered at
the Horticulture Society of Colorado Springs and served as a docent at the Fine Arts
Center. In 1974, her family moved to Connecticut, living first in Darien and later in
Stamford. She served on the boards of Trustees of the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum in
Norwalk and the Bartlett Arboretum in Stamford. She was a Connecticut Master
Gardener and a member of the Shippan Point Garden Club. Retiring with her husband to
Taos in 1993, Barbara became a member of the Taos Garden Club and maintained 86
varieties of penstemon, which grow in her garden today. She is survived by her husband, her
brother, Stephen W. Haines of Houston, TX; two daughters, Carter of Boulder, CO,
and Lynne of Philadelphia, PA; and a son, David of Cleveland, OH. She requested no
flowers and in honor of her lifelong love of animals, friends may make gifts to the Humane
Society of Taos, Inc. PO Box 622. Memorial Services will be held in Taos on
Saturday, May 5, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements by Rivera-Hanlon Funeral Home.

Ellison, Robert J. Jr.
Robert J. Ellison, Jr.
was born Oct. 1, 1939 in St. Louis, Mo. He grew up in St.
Paul, MN where he
attended the University of Minnesota. He served in the
United States Army, and was a commercial pilot and flight instructor.
Bob lived in Taos from 1979 to 1992 during which time he was a building
contractor, wood carver, furniture maker and hunting
guide. He was a
volunteer for the Taos County Search and Rescue for many
years; known for his
love of his horses, dogs, cats and many friends. After
being clean and sober for many years, Bob passed away at his home in
Palisade, CO on Nov. 19, 2006 surrounded by his family. He died from complications
of pneumonia. He is survived by brother William Ellison of Duxbury, MA; sister Barbara
McCabe of Minnetonka, MN; sons John of Milaca, MN, William of Telluride, CO, Eric of
Robbinsdale, MN along with their wives and 5 grandchildren. He is also survived
by his former spouse Anita Ellison and stepdaughter Liza Jeantete, both of Taos.

Ely, Georgette
Georgette Ely, 81, a
resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday night, June 4,
2007 at Presbyterian
hospital in the company of family and friends. Born in
Golf Juan, France, she
remained in southern France until moving to Taos in
February 1954 with her husband, Wolcott. A long-time resident of Taos,
Georgette owned and⁄or managed several businesses there, including The
Hummingbird Shop, The Americas, Gallery A, and Millicent Rogers Museum Store. She
was a talented weaver, seamstress and a prominent member of the art community. She
enjoyed learning about and documenting all types of modern and historical art. In 1985,
she moved to Albuquerque to be closer to her children and grandchildren. After suffering a
stroke in September 2002, Georgette became a member of the Albuquerque Stroke
Club. Georgette was preceded in death by her father and mother, Benjamin and Jeanette
Delenne; her brother, Jean Delenne; and her former husband and friend, Wolcott Ely. She
is survived by her daughter, Dora Ely Randall and husband, Jeff Randall; daughter,
Nanette Ely-Davies and partner, Frank Horner along with their children, Ashleigh and
Charles Davies and Joel Horner. Friends are encouraged to come and share stories of
Georgette's life at a visitation and informal reception Saturday, June 9, 2007, 2:00 p.m. to
4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Another memorial is being
planned for later this month or early in July in Taos. In

Enright, Patrick Gearin
Patrick Gearin Enright
(Pat) died April 2, 1999 at the age of 59. Pat is survived
by his two daughters,
Elise and Shannon Enright and his son-in-law, Robert Smith
of Albuquerque; his
brother and sister-in-law, David and Joe Enright of
Dallas, TX; and his sister, Jo Ellen, also from Dallas, TX. Pat spent most
of his life as a writer and as a lover of sports. Most of
Pat's greatest memories
came from his years of playing golf and softball in Taos.
Most notably was the
Pat Enright Golf Invitational. In lieu of flowers or
donations, his daughters ask only that you remember a funny story

Robert Eres, 63, of
Ranchos de Taos passed away on August 11, 2006. He is
survived by his
daughter, Melisa Cortez (Michael) and other relatives. A
memorial service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2006 at the Good
New Fellowship Church at 6 PM.
Erwin, Ransome W.
Ransome W. Erwin died at
the age of 93 on November 26, 2005. He and his wife, Barbara, were Taos residents since
1959. "Woody" was born in Ada, Oklahoma in 1912. He graduated from Oklahoma A M
University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He worked in the oil and gas industry
obtaining several patents during his career. He was a member of the First Presbyterian
Church and the Taos Lions Club. He is survived by his daughter, Jan Dorris of Taos and
grandsons, Eric Dorris of Steamboat Springs, CO and Tom Dorris of Ft. Worth, TX. A
memorial service will be held in Santa Anna, TX for both Barbara and Woody. Expressions of
sympathy may be in the form of donations to the Stray Hearts Animal Shelter.

Daughter of
Flora Andronico Roybal was so tragically taken from
us too soon. Along with her beautiful Daughter Andronica they were
murdered on Mother's Day. She was preceded in death by her mother, Flora Roybal;
and sister-in-law, Valerie A. Roybal. She is survived by her father, Andronico Roybal;
brother, Ivan Roybal; half brothers and sisters, Joe R. Roybal and wife Lydia and Juanita
Roybal and husband Carpio, all of Peñasco, Rosie Medina and husband Obed of Vadito,
Virginia Lopez of Taos; and many other relatives and friends. She was a loud,
fun-loving person, who was loved by all who knew her. Burial: Andronica Roybal

of Taos died Wednesday, 3-15-2000, in Taos. She retired

Municipal School District after 29 years. She was a member
