Quinn, Francis Dominic Jr.
Francis Dominic "Mickey" Quinn Jr., 78, of Taos passed away on July 04, 2006. He was owner and operator for 40 years of Cattle Raisers Supply Co. in Fort Worth, TX. Mickey was an avid supporter of Stray Hearts Animal Shelter. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Ann Quinn, sons, Chris Quinn (Paula) of Fort Worth, TX and Trey Quinn (Amy) of Weatherford, TX, stepson, King Hamilton of Arlington, TX, grandchildren, Cecelia Ann Quinn and Hudson Stewart Quinn. Memorial service will be held on Monday, July 10, 2006 at 1 PM atHoly Family Church in Fort Worth, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stray Hearts Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 622, Taos, NM 87571.

Quintana, Angelo
Angelo Quintana, 39, of Taos passed away on December 23, 2005. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John  Cecilia Quintana. He is survived by his wife, Angie Yazzie Quintana, son, Christopher Quintana, stepchildren, Nicole and Eric Marcus, parents, Orlando Quintana and Prescilla Romero, sister, Renee Quintana and brother, O.D. Quintana. He is also survived by grandparents, Henry  Viola Romero, numerous, aunts, uncles and other relatives. No services will be held.

Quintana, Benito Cordova
Benito Cordova Quintana, 25, of Taos passed away on January 09, 2007. Benito gave the gift of life by being an organ donor. He was a 2000 graduate of Taos High School. He attended UNM at both the Taos and Albuquerque campuses. He also attended New Mexico State University and the University of Southern Colorado. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of the Taos Optimist Club. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ben  Beatrice Cordova and Ernesto Marquez. He is survived by his mother, Katie Cordova of Taos, father, Victor A. Quintana of Costilla, brother, Billy C. Quintana of Taos, grandmother, Celsa Quintana of Costilla, aunts and uncles, Irma Wagner (George), Rita Martinez (Ray), Henry Cordova (Nila), John "Sais" Cordova (Bertha), Iris Marquez, Angie Ramirez (Abe) and Sharon Ruybal (Felix), many other relatives and friends.Rosaries were recited on Sunday, January 14, 2007 at Rivera Chapel and on Monday, January 15, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Costilla. Funeral mass was held on Tuesday, January 16, at Sacred Heart Church. Interment was held at Amalia Cemetery.

Quintana, Benito Cordova
Benito Córdova Quintana, 25, of Taos passed away on January 9, 2007. Benito gave the gift of life by being an organ donor. He was a 2000 graduate of Taos High School. Quintana, Crisofora G.
September 24, 2005 Crisofora "Popolo" G. Quintana, 89, of Taos passed away on September 24, 2005. Popolo retired as a city planner from the city of Los Angeles and also from the Taos County Planning Department. He served in the Army during WWII, was a member of Compadre of the Eagles and was widely known as a "Good Guy". He is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Eloisa Quintana, his brother, Edmundo Quintana, his sister, Stella Sisneros, sons, Ferdie and Steve Quintana, his daughter, Marlou Quintana and grandson, Estevan Quintana. He is survived by his wife, Ada, son, Dr. Paul Quintana (Lee) of Los Gatos, CA, his daughter-in-law Amy Quintana of Taos, his grandsons, Jake Quintana of Taos, Jason Quintana of Portland, OR , Larry Quintana, Shaune Quintana both of Seattle WA, granddaughter, Felize Thamert of Albuquerque, great grandsons, Jesse Quintana of Seattle, WA, Chaz Nettleton of Aspen, CO and Devon Dominquez of Albuquerque and numerous compradres, relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at 7 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Taos. A public viewing will be on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 5 PM to 7 PM at the Rivera Chapel. The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2005 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe, followed by interment at the Sierra Vista Cemetery. Arrangements by Rivera-Hanlon Funeral Home.

Quintana, Domitilia
January 27, 2006 Domitilia G. Quintana, 91, of Questa, passed away on January 27, 2006. She is preceded in death by her first husband Bernabe Bailon and by Felix Quintana. She is survived by her children Joe Bailon (Nancy Padilla), Albuquerque, NM, Carlos Hererra (Gloria), Questa, 11 step children, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rosary was recited on Sunday, January 29, 2006 at St. Anthony's in Questa. Funeral mass was held on Monday, January 30, 2006 at St. Anthony's. Interment was held at San Pedro Cemetery.

Quintana, Fidela
Fidela Quintana, 67 passed away on December 20. 2006. She was preceded in death by her parents Milton and Bernadette Archuleta, one son Frankie Quintana, three brothers, Robert, Claudio, and Roger Archuleta and one sister Pina Montoya. She is survived by her husband Frank Quintana. Three sons: Ralph (Karen) Quintana, Richard (Delsie) Quintana, Vincent (Sharon) Quintana. Two brothers: Clarence Florence) Archuleta and Marvin (Betty) Archuleta. Two sisters: Ruth Archuleta and Fabiola (Nick) Salazar. Eight grandchildren, three Great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers-Marvin Archuleta, Denise Quintana, Andrea Castillo, Julian Quintana, Carlos Quintana, and Shawn Archuleta. Honorary Pall Bearers- Francisca Quintana, Aliana Quintana, Ariana Quintana, and Nataniel Quintana. A Rosary was held at 7:00 PM Friday December 22, 2006 Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cerro. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM Saturday December 23, 2006 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cerro with burial to follow at the Cerro Cemetery. Arrangements were made with Weylen's Funeral Home in Questa, NM.  

Quintana, Fidencio
October 1, 2005 Fidencio Quintana, 56, of Taos passed away on October 01, 2005. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Amadeo and Amalia Quintana and his sister, Carmen Maestas. He is survived by his children, Becky Quintana, Isaac Quintana, Jamie Quintana, his sisters and brothers, Ermelinda Garcia (Jose), Sylvia Garcia, Lee Quintana (Tina), Gloria Cardenas (Nick), Lorraine Suazo (Charlie) Patricia Pacheco (Louie), Thomas Quintana (Mary Ann), Jeanette Fritch (Steve), Jesus Quintana that he raised from an infant, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Quintana, Inocencio
Inocencio Quintana age 14 months died at 8:00 AM Fri 12 March 1909, at his residence Ranchito de Abajo (Taos, NM) He died of Fiebre Pneumonia. He was the son of Samuel Quintana. La Revista De Taos newspaper. Contributed by Alberto Vidaurre.

Quintana, John
John Quintana, age 85, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, was called home by our Heavenly Father, Wednesday, November 24, 2004. John was born in Costilla, NM; and was a resident of Taos, NM currently living in Rio Rancho. John enjoyed dancing and was a member of Los Bailadores del Norte Dance Group; he authored stories in La Herencia Magazine; he participated in the Senior Olympics; and was a great community leader. He was preceded in death by his parents, Filiberto and Sara Quintana. John is survived by his loving wife, Cecilia Maria Quintana formerly of Taos, NM; his children, Ann Lucero and husband, Richard of Alameda, NM, Orlando Quintana and wife, Rose of Taos, Rosemarie Padilla and husband, Robert of Corrales, NM, John Quintana, Jr. of Taos, Joyce Quintana of Rio Rancho, Celestina Quintana of Taos, David Quintana of Santa Teresa, NM, and Petra Quintana and David Rael of Taos; 24 grandchildren; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Alice Alire of Denver, CO, Stella Reynolds and husband, Bud of Sacramento, CA, Agatha Jacobs of Lompoc, CA, Don Quintana and wife, Nettie of Brighton, CO, Anita Harrel of Denver, CO, Bert Quintana and wife, Bernice of Costilla, NM and Mae Gonzalez and husband, Jim of Denver, CO; numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members and friends. John will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Visitations will be Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th Street NW, in Albuquerque; followed by a Rosary at 4:00 p.m. also at the church. Final viewing will be Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Casket bearers will be Xavier Padilla, Pancho Quintana, Richard Lucero, Jr., Miguel Quintana, Angelo Quintana, Vincent Duran, and Curtis Drury. Quintana, Jose Ray
Jose Ray Quintana, 62 passed away on October 15, 2009 in Cerro, New Mexico.  He was born on October 21, 1946 in Cerro to Melecio and Leocardia Quintana, and was married to Amelia Quintana on June 5, 1971 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a member of the United States Navy and is a Vietnam Veteran, he was a member of the VFW, the Fraternidad de Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno, and he worked for Molycorp for 26 years. Jose is survived by his wife Amelia, four sons; Paul (Lina) Quintana, Fred (Elena) Quintana, Edward Quintana, Martin Quintana all from Cerro, grandchildren; Maria, Eric, Christopher, Esperanza, Elias Quintana, great grandchildren; Ryan, Jayden Quintana, two brothers; Dale (Sandra) Quintana, Arnold (Marlene) Quintana both from Cerro, five sisters; Irma (Milton) Cisneros, Carol Quintana, Kathy Quintana, Laurie (Michael) Montoya all from Cerro, LeAnne (Michael) Martinez from Pueblo, Co and one aunt; Maria Butler from Lincoln, Nebraska. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Dolores Archuleta, one brother, Floyd Quintana, and one sister Sally Quintana. The Rosaries will be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 17 and 18, 2009 at 6:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cerro. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 19, 2009 also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cerro, with the burial to follow at  Cerro Cemetery. Arrangements were made with Weylen's Funeral Home in Questa.

Syria Bernice Quintana, 77, of Costilla passed away on April 26, 2008. She is preceded in death by her son, Richard Gay, parents, Epimenio  Flor Torres and brother, Lenard Torres. She is survived by her husband, Bert Quintana, children, Diana Gay Catana (David) of Mill Valley, CA, Janette Ahrem (David) of Pacifica, CA, Kimberley Gay of San Jose, CA, step children, Patricia Pacheco (Antonio) of Costilla, Gary Quintana, (Carol) of Pueblo, CO, Larry Quintana (Cordie) of Santa Fe, Pauline Klarsfeld (Mike) of Albany, NY, Clemente Quintana (Sophie) of Carlsbad, Bertram Quintana (Beatrice) of Costilla, Victoria Vigil (Joey) of Questa, 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, aunt, Candelaria Torres. She is also survived by brothers and sisters, Emil Torres (Betty), Margie Brooks, Fran Reynolds, Cass Ruef (Rich), Fernando Torres, Ted Torres (Sadie) and many other relatives. Rosary was recited on April 29, 2008. Funeral mass was held on April 30, 2008. Both services were held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Costilla. Interment was held the Amalia Cemetery. Arrangements by Rivera Family Mortuaries.

Quinto, Juan Antonio
Juan Antonio Quinto age 63. Former Taos, NM Resident died at Del Norte, Colorado in the San Jose Hospital Del Norte, Colo. He was the son of J. J. Quinto and Eleonor M. Valdez, deceased.
