Llano (de San Juan
Nepomuceno) Morada Cemetery is located in Llano, Taos County, New Mexico. Llano is
located within the Santa Barbara Land Grant.
La Merced de Santa Barbara
(Santa Barbara Land grant) was granted for the second time on 11 January
1796. Five years later on 9 May 1801 Fray Esteban Aumatell, Minister in
charge of the San Lorenzo de Picuris parish reported that there were 2 Plazas
established by then, Santa Barbara (present day Rodarte) and Llano de
San Juan Nepomuceno (present day Llano).
